Arrive and park
Campus parking is paid and enforced from 8am to 6pm on weekdays, which covers all three conference days. You have a straightforward choice:
Car Park 6 is closest to K1, where the conference is hosted, and costs roughly $5 for the day. Accessible bays there are free to permit holders.
Car Park 22, off Claymore Road, is free but a longer walk in. Full detail below.
Walk to K1, the Creative Industries building
Sessions run in the Creative Industries building, Block K1, on the eastern side of campus opposite the Art Gallery.
If you are not sure where you are, look for the large building that resembles a giant metal cheese grater — it is hard to miss. The Art Gallery sits just past it, and directly across from the gallery is a large glass door. The building behind that door is K1.
Check in at the K1 breezeway
The registration desk is in the breezeway at K1, open from 08:45 on Tuesday 1 December. Pre-conference attendees on Monday 30 November should check the separate Industry Research Day program.
Yes, that means checking in outdoors — which in early December is either a very pleasant sea breeze or a solid wall of humidity. Either way, consider it an authentically Sunshine Coast welcome.
Find your session
Every session in the program is listed against its room. Four rooms are in use across the three days, all findable on the campus overview map:
